The Greens Will Make 5%

I have been saying for some time that the Greens should be polling much higher than they are - picking up “ethical left” voters disgusted with Labour who can not bring themselves to vote centre-right.

But they continue to hover on the brink of electoral oblivion. Look at the five polls in September...

Greens Hoardings Clever but Meaningless



We've seen the hoardings popping up around the place. Cute little kiddies, nice lighting, encapsulates the Kiwi spirit really well. And then on top of that you've got "Vote for us". Hey, full-marks to the photographer, the photos are really nice. But what's the message? It's trying to say "if you care about the next generation, vote for the Green party". But there is no policy there, no promises, just a pretty blunt request for your party vote.
